5/7: Rhythm

Note Lengths

The note length determines how long a note will sustain in reference to a standard 44 bar.

A whole-note for example, sustains over the entire bar. A half-note sustains over half of the bar, and so on.

This is how each note length is repeated in a 4/4 bar:

Whole-note 1/1
Half-notes 1/2
Quarter-notes 1/4
Eighth-notes 1/8
Sixteenth-notes 1/16
