That was a very pleasant surprise today. I am on free membership with Departurer and the games to identify chord quality and chord progressions. I played 20-30 minutes or so and for the first time I can recall, I managed to climb level for all 3 games at the same time! For departurer I was introduced for first time b12 (tritone plus octave) to identify and got it and m14 and M14 have been fairly new to me. Chord quality is what I find most difficult, particularly the 7ths and 9ths but it is coming along. There has been recently half-diminished-7 and sus4-7. As for chord progression I usually manage fairly well on identifying the minors and majors but that’s not good enough, I need to identify VIb VIIb and IIIb moderately reliably now as well as distinguishing iv and v feeling the dominant (v or V).
