You mean with ToneGym instrumentos? I use the piano way more often than I should. Other timbres that we aren't so used to can add a bit of challenge, or at least make our ears find natural to identify tones relations with different harmonics in.

it will switch instruments automatically if you fail to pass a level. just keep at it till it selects piano or something you are more familiar at it

There is a setting to use a random instrument or to stick with the last one you selected.

Always Beckstein piano, the default one. It's the clearest at most games, and the only one that allows me to hear every note of complex chords.

Beckstein for me to, but in my opinion this could be much better. For me sometimes its hard to hear the lowest notes f.e. in chordelius, for me they some sound much too percussive...

Generally, tonygym's samples could be much better...

On TG? The piano. Some of the other 'instruments' sound so bad that chords and intervals are difficult to distinguish.

What about tg instruments you bought using Tcoins? i'm curious to wether those are any better, like steinway or organ... ?
