Shouldn't the Notationist accept midi input to make it more effective? After having this idea, I actually pressed the keys, haha, and it seems to recognize indeed, but only the white keys, haven't been able to have it recognize any sharps or flats. Bug? Intentional? Mistake?
I also tried it and it seems to recognize the sharps but not the flats and it only notices one octave of keys so i need to press the same key for the lower C and the higher c. Would be really nice if there was a way to make midi keyboards work.
In order to choose a flat note with your midi controller, before pressing the desired black key, you must hold the B3 (59) key to access the flat notes.
You can hold down the 'tab' button on your computer's keyboard to see all the keyboard shortcuts.
