Good morning,

I just signed up for a one-year subscription to tonegym, and I have a few questions for you:

1) First, I don't know if I'm in the right place to ask my questions. I looked for an email address where I could reach a member of the tonedear team but I couldn't find it. If I've gone to the wrong place, please tell me where I should direct my questions.

2) I have a problem with the Rythmania game. To put it simply: I don't understand what is expected of me! I have tried many times to click with my spacebar following the rhythm that was given to me, but each time without exception, I get an error message like: you typed too many times, not enough, or not at the right time.

3) You may be telling me that problem no 2) is not that serious: for example, I have no problem understanding what is expected of me in games concerning intervals. But the problem is that Rhythmania is part of the training program you gave me, and I can't advance in this program until I get a good score in this game. So I would like to change this program but I don't know how to do it.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Yossi (I remind you of my email: [email protected])

Hey Yossi, Kind of feel you've posted this into the wrong space, as basic music theory, or any tonegym stock courses require any of the game to be played.
When posting from your Feed Dashboard, make sure to select the correct space in the drop down selector right next to the post button.

I'll still try and help you as much as I can ^^
if you want to contact ToneGYM staff, https://www.tonegym.co/support/index there you can do it.
ToneDEAR staff, I can't tell you, I assume this is your educational mentor that that you are a student of. If so you probably already joined the right space, now you just have select that you want to post in there, or click on the logo in the top menu, al the way to the left. this displays all your currently joined spaces and should lead you to the ToneDear pals, if you joined it already- I not try looking for some instructions maybe in your confirmation email.

For number 2, Rhythmania will show you a 2 Bars long Notation, Notes are rhythmical hits, not changing pitch, only duration. otherwise, the notes body would be round.

Giving you 1 full Bar of headroom to focus and adopt the tempo, the cursor moves along the blank squares above the Treble clave notation in realtime playing a metronome to emphasize the tempo as each square represents a quarter section of the bars writtin below that. The Blank squares always are 1 full bar (3 sqaures at 3/4, 4 at 4/4 signature) of light sqares over 2 bars (6 for 3/4. 8 for 4/4 etc). The ligher sqaure is the headroom counting you in when you start a round, Everything that is written in the Treble clave is then to be played while the curser indication proceeds and reaches the darker sqaures. the metronom will continue to play telling you where you're at in time.
You just have to follow the notation hitting spacebar whenever a not is presumably played according to what you read in those notes.
At the end when 2 bars in messure are completed in time, the game will tell you if you hit spacebar lesser times than what is notated, it will say insufficient taps.- It'll say too many taps if, well you hit more often than written down. in between those poles lies the, what I call realm of accuracy I play the amount of notes, regardless of when they had to be played, just as long as the amount is the same the game will prompt you not only with inaccurate but also with 2rows of dots, that show up in those blank squares. one line being white showing when every note was supposed to be played, when you should've pressed spacebar. the second row represents your actual hits a nd will have either green dots for when a hit got approved to be played at the right time or a red one indicating that the timing of that hit was not close enough to when a hit should've been played.

you can't make it exactly on point always and up until level 35 i can confirm the variation tolerance for the timing is quite forgiving.

Also, if you're using bluetooth headphones it will through you all out of whack on the the rhythm games. The delay between what you hear and it getting broadcasted to your headphones causes you to come in late. There is some mechanic for adjusting the delay, but I've found that really you just need to either use wired headphones or wired speakers. Just in case maybe that helps.
