Hello everyone! I have been saving up for the Steinmay piano for quite some time now and I am approaching my goal of earning a thousand tonecoins. My question is for those that already own the Steinmay: Does it really make a difference compared to the regular Beckstein? If yes: How much of a difference and what kind of difference? Is it worth it? Thanks in advance.

Both the Beckstein and Steinmay are good. To be the Beckstein sounds clearer. I paid for all the instruments. Some have so many overtones it's hard to tell a M3 from a M10.. Some have no overtones and sustaining power it's very hard to tell what the intervals are....but I guess it helps your ears develop.

I was at that same spot some time ago...and bought it, along with some other instruments in order to get a wider range of timbres available for practicing. I tested them and put them back on their shelves (not the Steinmay: I used its wood to feed the fire that heated us last winter). I've been using only the Beckstein ever since.

@Cuantas Vacas Haha ok, then I suppose I should just buy the different guitars first since I am a guitarist, or just buy the cheapest insrument first and then the next for the sake of collecting.

It sounds rather dumb but one day I realised I could do practices outside the daily training. I quickly collected a lot of coins and bough the instruments. I think I went from 250k to 2 million TPI in 2 weeks. Got 6k coins

Practice outside the daily training requires a pro membership right? If not what do you mean?

Oh I guess so. I paid for a lifetime membership, because I know one year won't do it.
