I know what you mean, but reading for instruments is pretty hand-eye too. I like that notionationalist is too fast to think too much.

I do wish it would work with my MIDI keyboard. It's weird hitting the bottom row on the keyboard for flats

Edit: Nvm fixed it

You should be able to use a midi keyboard with the game.
If you hold the tab button in the game you will see on the top-right corner of each button it's corresponding midi value so you can map which key controls which button.

I've learned that you can press tab to see the (computer) keyboard shortcuts. That's faster, but also a little weird because it's asdfghjk instead of 1-8.
