Congrats @Joan Escrivà for completing the 'Music Theory Basics' program!
Hello!

Is there music producers who uses ToneGym?
If you're a music producer, what practical use do you get from training relative pitch?

I've been using SoundGym for a year and I see the usefulness of those exercises, however I'm on the fence of starting another starting payed plan here.
Some people say - just transcribe real music and you'll get necessary skills for music, no need for relative pitch apps and websites.

What's your thoughts on this?

Looking for a new place where to find answers, aren't you? 😁 Welcome to TG! But first I need some answers from you...
What do you mean when you say 'relative pitch training'?
Have you learned music theory? If so, to what extent?

it’s hard to transcribe real music with good habits if solid foundations of relative pitch and music theory aren’t there.
Hi everyone, Avelino here
i have this orchestral piece i wrote and produced on Logic , do give me some feedback!

They might be only working on guitarGym. You cannot even @ them here.
Is there an exercise that is JUST like this? This is what I need to train my ear to hear chord progressions. The daily training gives me grief.

You know you can select what appears in your Daily Workout, right? You can basically opt out of games you don’t think have value for you and just leave the ones in there that you would like.

@Petr Hartmann There are still lots of 404s on the site so I am not surprised.😁

@Josh Zaslow I do not know if you can if you are not a beta tester...😥

It is still in the testing phase and I do not know their plan for free. (or even when it goes live) If I learn I will post here.

Should I learn something else before trying the gym workout ? I feel like most of the games are incredible hard for me, and I'm level 1 or 2 in most of them.

Hi Filipe. I find the Exercises section that you see on the right side of your page, very useful for practicing a particular skill or game that I'm stuck on.

Yes - do keep at it. I was really horrible when I started. I'm still pretty awful at Inversionist and Route VI...
